Jean spent fourteen years in distressed investing on the buy side as a Director with Oaktree Capital Management (one of the largest distressed investors globally), Citigroup (Head of the Distressed Group, team of four) and Merrill Lynch.​

Jean's distressed investments ranged in size from a few million to USD 400 million including insolvency claims, single loans, portfolio of loans, bonds, CDS, and distressed equity via pre-packs. Those investments were made in the UK, France, Germany, US and Japan.

 

Prior to working on the buy side Jean spent five years in the corporate insolvency department of Price Waterhouse.

 

Jean is a dual qualified Barrister-at-Law and PQ Chartered Accountant.
